On Monday the 14th of July, 2025, I engaged with the brilliant students and staff of Pong-Tamale SHS from the Savelugu Constituency as part of the “Parliament in Focus” educational programme. Our engagement focused on the mandate of Parliament and the role of MPs. Serving as a vital component of Parliament’s inclusivity and transparency, this interactive session empowered these students to take an active role in shaping the future. Grateful to the Department of Public Engagement for the smooth facilitation, the resource persons, and colleague MPs who were present. May we continue to value education and the opportunity it brings in shaping a generation that values democracy and service.
