Yesterday, I was honoured to join the Minority Women Caucus, led by our able Deputy Minority Leader and MP for Asokwa, Hon. Patricia Appiagyie, on a courtesy visit to the newly enstooled Asantehemaa, Nana Yaa Akyaa II, at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.

We congratulated Her Majesty on her enstoolment and reaffirmed our respect for the institution of chieftaincy and its important role in preserving our heritage, promoting peace and advancing national development.

I wish Nana Yaa Akyaa II a successful and impactful reign. May her leadership bring peace, unity and prosperity to the Asante Kingdom and Ghana.
