Today, I joined family, friends, and sympathizers at the residence of the late Hon. Merry Salifu Boforo, former MP for Savelugu Constituency(1992-2016) to observe her final funeral rites. I was accompanied by Hajia Ayishatu Seidu and constituency executives of the NPP. May Allah grant the former MP eternal rest and reward her dedicated service to Savelugu.

Ghana lost a dedicated public servant. Hon. Mary Salifu Boforo served as Member of Parliament for Savelugu for over 20 years, distinguishing herself as a strong voice for women, community development, and inclusive governance. Her commitment to service and nation-building will be remembered.
